Itineraries

Day 1

Istanbul

We will be waiting for you at the exit gate of the airport holding a sign with your name on it and transfer you to your hotel in old city İstanbul. Rest of the day you could relax in your room or discover the city on your free time . Overnight at Istanbul hotel.

Day 2

Full Day Istanbul Old City Tour

After breakfast approximately at 8:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel to begin the full day tour. Your full day tour will visit Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. Lunch at a local restaurant. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel at around 5:30 pm. Overnight in Istanbul Included meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 3

Full Day Old City & Bosphorus Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide at the hotel lobby for a short drive to Spice Market, Egyptian Bazaar heaped with various sweets & spices is one of the world’s largest spice bazaars since 1665. Soon after, we embark on the Bosphorus ferry for an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the beautiful strait that divides Europe from Asia. After lunch break, we continue driving across the first Bosphorus Bridge & head for the summit of Camlica Hill, which offers 360° panoramic views of Istanbul overlooking the Sea of Marmara. Driving back to Europe over the Bosphorus Bridge, we visit Dolmabahce Palace, with more than 340 rooms & eight Turkish Baths the Imperial Residence of the last six Sultans. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (B, L)

Day 4

Gallipoli Tour

Pick up from hotel and drive Gallipoli. It takes around 5 hours to get to Gallipoli War Fields. Once you arrive, lunch is served. After lunch around 13:00 Fully Guided Tour starts, visiting Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian, Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drop off to the hotel. Overnight in Canakkale/Eceabat. (B, L)

Day 5

Troy & Pergamum Tour

08:30 pick up from your hotel to Visit the ancient city of Troy, famous for the legendary Trojan horse from the times of Beautiful Helen, Queen of Sparta, and Paris, the Trojan Prince. The ancient town of Pergamon, enter the Red Court, a precinct of successive religious worship - evident in the various transformations of a formerly pagan temple to a Byzantine basilica, eventually to a mosque. Drive up to the Asclepion on the hilltop, once a world-renowned medical center of physicians and scholars. Afterwards, visit the impressive remains of the Acropolis After tour drive to Kusadasi Overnight at Kusadasi hotel. (B, D)

Day 6

Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour

Pick-up from your hotel Pamukkale meaning is "cotton castle" in Turkish, Pamukkale is one of Turkey's top attractions and a precious in the world with its cotton-look terraces. The underground water once gave life to the ancient city of Hierapolis now helps Pamukkale to be one of the most important thermal centers of Turkey. Tourists and locals visit Pamukkale and Hierapolis frequently not only for its extraordinary look and its ancient history but also for wellness. Scientifically proven to cure many diseases, the waters attract people and there are many thermal hotels in the area that serve 12 months a year. In ancient times all religious buildings were built nearby hot or cold water sources. Beside religious buildings, some other buildings such as fountains and baths also were built for curing. The numbers of baths, fountains and also churches are evident of the importance of waters in Hierapolis and Christianity. The temples were significant trade centers and Hierapolis had many temples that made people confused about which god they would worship before Christianity. End of the tour drive back to Kusadasi your hotel. Overnight at Kusadasi hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 7

Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour / Cappadocia

After breakfast at the hotel around 08:30 you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full day tour of Ephesus. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities. You will first visit the Temple of Artemis which was once one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Next you will visit the world famous ancient Greco- Roman City of Ephesus, the most well preserved example in the world. After visiting this impressive site, you will have a break for lunch. After lunch you will visit the House of Virgin Mary, where it is believed she spent her last days. This is a holy place for both Christians and Muslims. Afterwards you will visit the Isabey Mosque. After the tour you are transferred to Izmir airport for your flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir through Istanbul. Upon your arrival at the Kayseri or Nevsehir airport a representative will be present holding your name sign to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, L)

Day 8

North Cappadocia Tour

09:30am - 09:45am Pick up from your hotel Full day tour of Northern Part of Cappadocia Goreme Panorama is a panoramic point where you can see a wonderful view Goreme town with its spectacular cave houses. Goreme Open Air Museum is the first and biggest monastery where this religious education was started. You will visit the churches, chapels and monasteries carved into the fairy chimneys with frescoes painted on the walls from 10th to 13th Centuries. In the 4th century three important men created a new unity here they are the Great St. Basil, bishop of Kayseri, his brother St.Gregory of Nyssa and St. George of Nazianus. Avanos is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is worked by local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak River. The Kizilirmak, which divides Avanos into, is the longest river of Turkey. Devrent Valley has various types of fairy chimneys. Among these are those with caps, cones mushroom like forms pillar and pointed rocks. With the action of smaller, secondary volcanoes and the action of rivers, wind and flood waters, this layer of tuff has slowly but steadily been eroded to produce the rock formations know as "fairy chimneys". we will take a walk through this amazing valley. Pasabaglari (Monks Valley) Many fairy chimneys with multiple stems and caps can be found here, this style being unique to this area. A chapel dedicated to St. Simeon and a hermit's shelter is built into one such fairy chimney with three heads. Three Beauties has a beautiful view over Urgup town, famous with wine factories, and vineyards with apricot gardens give you memorable shots forever. 16:30-17:00 pm transfer back to your hotel Overnight in Cappadocia. Day 9

South Cappadocia Tour

09:30 - 09:45 am Pick up from your hotel Full day tour of Southern Part of Cappadocia Uchisar Castle is the highest point in the region. The castle and its surrounds used to be the most populated area this settlement to survey the enemies. The top of the citadel provides a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area. Kızılçukur is a valley called Rose valley as well because of the red colors of the rocks. This is one of the best valleys for hiking in the area (3,5km). Kızılçukur was also used by Christians at the end of 5th century, so you will explore the cave dwellings and old churches. The colors also change up according to the daylight. It is the best place to see sunset. Cavuşin this village is one of the ancient settlement in the early period of Christian having the oldest churc of region dating back to 3rd century. It was exactly settled like a big town where you see lost of cave rooms used as living rooms, sleeping rooms, kitchens, wineries, etc. All these are waiting for you to eplore where cave houses collapsed because of landslide in 1960 which has a gorgeous view. Love Valley called originally White Valley offers you a wonderful view with its funny shaped fairy chimneys. Underground City (Kaymaklı or Özkonak) this is the most interesting one in the region among 36 other ones which were firdt used by Hittites and later by Chiristians like a shelter in during Roman persecution times. By carving lots of rooms all connected with tunnels, they lived in here when the cities were invaded by enermies. you have a change to see the rooms, food storages church and kitchens. Chimneys and defence systems used in the underground city will surprise you during the visit. Pigeon Valley is a panoramic view point where you will see the pigeaons and pigeon houses which were used to keep pigeons in order to collect their dropping for fertilising the earth especially wineyards. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped to the Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your late evening flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival you will be picked-up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (B, L)

Departure

After breakfast check out from hotel (before 12:00), transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport as per your international flight details. End of tour and services. (B)
